SEAPIX - multibeam mapping
SeapiX is a multi-beam sonar that uses a dual Mills Cross multibeam sonar to map the water column and seabed. SeapiX generates one or more scan sweeps longitudinally or transversely of the vessel's axis, thus providing a total three-dimensional coverage of the water column, a bathymetric profile of the seabed and identification of sediment type in the seabed.
