TRIMBLE BX982 - Survey GPS

The Trimble BX982 GNSS receiver is a multi-channel, multi-frequency GNSS receiver that provides accurate positioning and precise heading. Trimble BX982 supports GPS L1 / L2 / L5 and GLONASS L1 / L2 signals. In addition, Trimble is committed to providing the next generation of Modernized GNSS configurations for GALILEO compatible products available to customers, well in advance of GALILEO being operational. In support of this, the Trimble BX982 is capable of tracking Galileo signals for evaluation and testing purposes. The receiver can also be available with 2 antenna inputs. The Trimble BX982 is designed for easy integration and robust reliability. Customers takes advantage of the internet connection on the card for high-speed data transfer and configuration via standard browsers. This simplifies integration and reduces development costs. BX982 has been thoroughly tested in harsh environments.

Trimble versions


Trimble BX982 is available in several variants. All models can accept Fugro Marinestar, for a 4 cm position. RTK requires the Internet, Marinestar can be received through the air or the Internet. A lower model can be upgraded to a higher one. The upgrade price is slightly higher than the interlacing between the two models. To achieve a heading, two antennas must be used.
